Drabble of the Week for the 25th week of 2014 goes to another of our more recent drablrs. Mike Arnzen has been posting some great drabbles and I’m happy to see his excellent Stage Jitters receive this weeks award. This is a classic drabble with a wonderful twist at the end.

This weeks Drabble of the Week award goes to a new drablr and currently just one time submitter, Laura Thiry for her wonderful Reluctant Love drabble. With luck this will be the first of many drabbles we’ll see from Laura. Continue reading Drabble of the Week #24: Reluctant Love
Once in a while we have a new drablr join the community who strikes a chord with our drablrs from the outset. After only a couple of weeks posting drabbles, Horrorshow has gained the Drabble of the Week award for the Drabble, That Which Grows, That Which Dies.
I’m looking forward to reading more drabbles from Horrorshow! Continue reading Drabble of the Week #23: That Which Grows, That Which Dies

I’m not sure if our Drabble of the Week award goes to Peter for a great piece of fiction, or if it’s perhaps more a nice autobiographical work. Whichever it is, it’s still a great drabble.
Suffice to say, don’t try this at home…or your local Post Service!

We’re living in a world with organisations like the NSA whose sole purpose is to spy on everyone. Governments endlessly lie to their voters and it’s been a long time since anyone had any real privacy. You’d think with all these security worries that we’d all be trying to keep our search histories to ourselves. Well, it seems somebody forgot to tell K. Z. Morano about all this and as a result KZ’s Google Search History has taken this weeks Drabble of the Week award.

This weeks Drabble of the Week is a real corker. Sand. It may just be one word but after you read Jonathan Hills latest drabble you’ll certainly be a little more cautious on your next trip to the beach. Congratulations to Jonathan on taking this weeks award.

2014 is flying by and we’re already up to our 17th, Drabble of the Week award. This weeks award goes out to long standing Drablr, Michael Brookes. For his latest drabble, Michael isn’t his usual chilly self, but “A Man and His Shed” a great drabble all the same.

This week we have a new Drabble of the Week award winner. Helen has only posted a couple of drabbles in the month since she joined Drablr, but both are excellent 100-word stories. Helen’s second drabble, Cold Heart, is a worthy entry for our weekly award. So a big congratulations.

It’s grisly, as many of Peter’s drabbles are, but it’s also a great classic Drabble. Our Drabble of the Week goes to Peter for his creepy, “A Fine Stew”. If you don’t enjoy the more gruesome side of storytelling then this isn’t for you. Apparently though, Peter has plenty of fans who do, and they voted appropriately.
